Hello WatchEx fam, it's me again. Up for sale is my final attempt at letting this Tetra 27.5mm go. Priced to move! Up for grabs is a Nomos Tetra 27.5mm with a solid caseback and that charming paper-like "beige" dial with blue hands. It features the cleaner “Germany” dial (no “Made in Germany”), which puts its production somewhere between 2005–2010, right after Nomos started rolling out their in-house Alpha movement. I reached out to Nomos directly, and they confirmed this one was manufactured in 2008 and was serviced by them in 2021. This is one of the four original classics from Nomos, and honestly, no one really talks about how light and slim these are. We’re talking just 28.5 grams with straps on! It wears super well, easily dresses up or down, and has standard 18mm lugs, so strap options are endless. Winding is smooth as butter. It’s been running around +3s/day with a single morning wind, and +5s/day if I give it a second wind at night. Rock solid timekeeping. But as always, ymmv. Comes with the original Nomos box and the service card from their 2021 service. Asking $850( reduced from 1275)+ shipping. Pretty confident this is the lowest out there, especially for this dial variant, you mostly see the 29.5mm models pop up. Why am I letting it go? I've been daily-ing my Grand Seiko quartz and this Tetra, and they are kinda similar but also different. Starting to think I need something with more water resistance that’s still casual and under the radar. I've consolidated down to 3+1 collection, really pushing to a real 3 watch collection, less is more right?
