[WTS] Camy Geneva Chronograph, 18k Rose Gold
[WTS] Camy Geneva Chronograph, 18k Rose Gold Here’s a stunning Camy chronograph with a Landeron 248, from the 1950s. Manual wind, 37mm case X 45mm lug to lug X 11.5 thick, 20mm lugs. Please see pictures for the 18k gold stamp on the back, and the gold stamp between the lugs. please take a look at the lugs. Even though many chronographs of this era are commonly marked “solid” gold, the lugs are sometimes hollow, as are these. There are some small, dings, holes and crinkles on the gold covering of these lugs. Between the lugs, the spring bars are held by the old style, male-end pins (spring bars are hollow). When I got the watch, two of those pins were broken off and I have since had them laser welded on. In that process, we filled one or two lugs a bit, but there is more that can be done, if a buyer wishes. The watch is keeping decent time (regulated across 5 positions) and the chronograph resets to 0. However the watch could definitely use a service, which I can provide for $285. This has been a project watch for me. When I got it, it was not wearable. But the dial was clearly worth it. Pristine and gorgeous. The case is a beautiful shade of rose gold. Given the issue with the lugs, I am pricing it well below gold chronographs of this era. So this could be your chance to get into a vintage gold chronograph for a great price. Asking $800. including shipping in CONUS. Payment- Zelle, Venmo. PP F&F, or G&S plus fee. Please see my feedback as pmnealhsd on Reddit (trying to get my name out of it), and as Scappamento on WUS.
