For sale is this beautiful Omega Genève 166.0117. This watch was built in 1975 and is in excellent overall condition. Omega introduced the Genève line in the 1950s as a high-end production just below their chronometer pieces. Omega built the models in Geneva and marked the dial as such, differentiating it from other models built elsewhere. I serviced the watch this April. The watch was disassembled, thoroughly inspected, cleaned, re-inspected, assembled, and lubricated. [Here](https://imgur.com/a/ZpWEZeA) is a photo album of the timegrapher results and various photos taken during the service. The case measures 35 mm, 41 mm lug to lug, and 18 mm between lugs. The case and bracelet are 20 microns thick gold plated. For reference, standard gold plating ranges anywhere between 1 and 5 microns. There is some expected plate wear around the lugs and bracelet links as shown in the photos, but is in great shape overall especially considering it’s a 50 year old watch. The bracelet and clasp are original and come with full links. The Omega 1020 automatic movement has a hacking, stop-seconds function as well as day/date complications. The sunburst dial and hands are in great condition. The crown is in perfect condition and was an OEM replacement. The acrylic crystal has a few small scratches and blemishes. I’ve been working on watches for several years. Servicing, building custom pieces, modding, etc. But since I am not a professional watchmaker, I’m not tacking on any extra for the service. I’m noting the service to point out the watch is well-cared for and in excellent condition. Asking a negotiable $699 which includes tracked and insured CONUS shipping. Prefer Zelle, CashApp, or Venmo. Thanks for looking!
