Period Correct Components: This example features the following period correct components as defined by Moonwatch Only, starting with the serial # on caliber 861 movement, C1 dial, C2 hands, A4 caseback, A4 pushers, and A2 crown.
Non-Period Correct Components: B5 bezel insert
Aesthetic Condition: The Omega signed Hesalite crystal is clean with no deep scratches or visible scuffs. The tritium plots on the dial and hands have been relumed. The case is in very handsome condition for it’s age. As can be expected for a 55+ year old watch that's been carefully worn and enjoyed, there are some small hairline scratches and swirl marks on the case and case back. The 1171 bracelet is in good condition as well, with no major scratches on the links or clasp. There is an indentation on the clasp, that I've provided a few pictures of below.
Mechanical Condition: The movement appears to be healthy, running dead even at 0 / sec per day with an amplitude of 252 degrees in the dial up position. Power reserve times out at 51 hours. The chronograph functions (start, stop, and reset to "0") are all in good working order. The crown winds nice and smooth.
Bracelet: 1171/1/633 (this the correct bracelet for a '69, but based on the clasp code and manner in which the '633' is marked on the endlinks, I believe this bracelet was likely a service replacement from the 1980's)
Fitment: measures 6 and 7/8ths of an inch on the inner circumference
