[WTS] Early Electric Swiss Horological School Student Watch
[WTS] Early Electric Swiss Horological School Student Watch
Up for sale is a ca. **1960-1961 Ecole Professionnelle de la Vallée de Joux Student Watch** Size: 35mm Location: Brooklyn/ NYC **Condition:** Watch is in perfect working condition overall with some scratches, mostly on the caseback. The guilloche sine wave dial is in perfect condition with no patina or aging. The hands are also clean. Running great but no service history available. It's pretty rare for a student/school watch to come up, and I find this watch to ask so many questions about its own history and its place in Swiss watchmaking. With its hands and sine waves, it fits squarely into the atomic design of its day. Both in terms of design and it being built from a Landeron 4750, the very first Swiss eclectic watch, the student who painstakingly built it must have been on the bleeding edge and avant garde at the time. **Price: $3,250 but am willing to negotiate** payment methods accepted are Zelle, Venmo, Paypal G&S+3.5%(for qualified buyers). I'll ship within 24hrs of receiving payment. I'll ship for free domestically, and am willing to ship almost anywhere internationally with buyer paying shipping. **Trade:** I'd consider trading for another student watch or other unique pieces that tell a story. I'd also be interested in funky vintage chronograpghs and tuning fork movements, but am specifically interested in Universal Geneve pieces of all sorts. please reach out! Message me for questions and/or more photos! Thanks!
