Manufacturing of Waltham watches took place at their facility in Waltham, Massachusetts.* Some of the best timepieces have already been made like this Waltham manufactured a century ago in 1908 in Waltham, Massachusetts USA. The attention to detail on this piece is nothing short of spectacular. Of course, we put forth our best effort to bring it back to its original glory by hand-polishing the jewel settings, balance, balance weights, and gear train. The result is a movement with impeccable contrast where the golden elements pop exactly how Waltham intended. Dial side, the original unrestored heat-blued hands and porcelain-enamel dial remain. The dial looks like it could have been made yesterday—that’s just the quality put into these pieces back in the day. Designed to be in service just about indefinitely. We have this piece freshly converted in our 44 mm case that fits like a modern 40 mm made of surgical-grade steel (316L) with front/back AR coated sapphires. **Price**: $1,749, But negotiable—especially to someone with an interest getting into vintage American watchmaking. **Case**: 316L stainless (surgical grade steel), 44 mm diameter, 47 mm lug to lug (52 mm with crown), 13 mm height, front/back sapphire crystals that are AR coated.
