Watches were produced in their factory in Springfield, Illinois.* Got to love this detail. Everything here is original and added by Illinois in Springfield, Illinois, at the time of manufacture in 1922, including the golden movement accents and heat-blued hands. It is always a privilege to work on a piece like this, knowing it has lived through a century of history yet still retains characteristics that made Illinois a premier watchmaker of its time. We carefully hand-polished the brass jewel settings and movement plates, restoring their original brilliance without compromising the finer details. The result? A movement that looks like it just left the factory floor, yet still carries the character of a well-preserved vintage piece. The dial is all original, featuring an intricate guilloché motif at the center with a rich gilt finish, while the original heat-blued hands provide a striking contrast against it.
