The IWC features a matte black Ceratanium case, which is accented by an unidirectional “Timezoner” bezel that is mechanically aligned with the time display, and allows the wearer to effortlessly adjust the time to any of the 24 different timezones that are referenced on the bezel. The Top Gun is mounted on an OEM black rubber strap with textile inlays, which is secured by a Ceratanium tang buckle. The IWC features a black dial with Arabic numeral hour markers, matte black luminous hands, a date window aperture at 3 o’clock, and a 24 hour UTC display below 12 o’clock.
The movement used in the IW395505 is the IWC Caliber 82760, which features approximately 60 hours of power reserve, and is proudly displayed through an exhibition caseback. A unique aspect of the Caliber 82760 is its innovative “Timezoner” bezel module, originally designed in 2002 by watchmaker Thomas Prescher for Vogard. Impressed by Vogard’s groundbreaking design, IWC acquired the “Timezoner” patent in 2014 and has since carried forward the brand’s legacy through its acclaimed Pilot’s Watch Timezoner models.
Overall the IWC is in mint condition and has been well preserved, with minimal signs of previous wear.
