Islander ISL-02

One of the true watch (Seiko 007 clone) gems on the market today is the Islander ISL-02.
A innovative creation of Marc owner of Island Watches, is not only a great guy but certainly well respected in the watch industry, especially for the collaboration with a quality Asian manufacturer to produce these watches. Since the 007 is no longer produced and if found use sometime commands ridiculous prices.

This model has all the features most wish the 007’s had: hacking, sapphire crystal, drilled lugs and of course the endless supply of Seiko modding parts that for this model perfectly. Speaking of which I’ve installed a Crystal-times ceramic bezel insert with red triangle, replacing the lumed bezel insert 5hat came standard on this model (not available) and has same specs and dimensions as the SKX-007.
Another nice feature is the 5he SEL’s (solid end links) stay on the bracelet unlike other brands. Makes removing an easier task, so they don’t get misplaced.

** Note: Also included is several Seiko 2.5 mm double shoulderless springbars for drilled lug Seiko watches.

** Noice the bracelet screw head…. The head has a tiny flexible tip end, most like to facilitate its tiny design on threading and prevent over torquing ( a very innovative design) not found on any watch bracelets I’m aware of.

This is almost new (10-24) purchase (I’m the second owner) Complete with removed links (3) and bracelet link screwdriver, original receipt, box, pillow. As new no marks on case, crystal or bracelet.

My words of safe buying for potential buyers: FIRST: “check your sellers feedback before you buy, always try to buy from a WUS known and trusted seller”
