For sale: Vintage Douglas Skindiver World Timer. Legend has it this was the “other” watch Neil Armstrong used in test flight missions before he famously wore the Omega to the moon. These have been re-released under the new parent Wolbrook brand, but this is one of the original French made models from the 1960’s. Overall fair condition considering its age. It’s powered by a French made handwind movement with a red date disk and is running and keeping good time. Acrylic crystal and bi-directional friction bezel with world time and minute markers, bezel is turning smoothly. Cool little vintage piece with an interesting back story.
