[WTS] Affordable Watches — Seiko, Swatch, Casio, Vaer, Praesidus and more!
Hi WatchEx! Davis here. I am consolidating my collection, and that means letting go of some well-loved pieces at hot prices. Before we get started, a few notes: **CONUS shipping is included** in all of these prices. **Bundles**: At minimum, you will save on shipping. I will also entertain discount offers. **Davis, I want to buy all of them**: Sure. You can have them all for **$400**. That price is firm. **Davis, will you consider trades**: Yeah, why not, sure. I will consider trades for a green-dial field watch of comparable value, or a vintage Omega 18mm mesh bracelet + cash. **Payment Methods**: Zelle, PayPal FF, or PayPal G&S if you have a good transaction history. 1. **Seiko Chariot 2220-0180** — This is a gorgeous hi-beat manual-wind dress watch with sharp Roman numerals set against a silver linen dial. Case is 35mm, lug-to-lug is 37mm. Comes with two aftermarket leather straps. I am asking **$210**, originally paid $250. 2. **Swatch “Knight of the Night”** — Here is a great little ‘90s vintage quartz watch that is still on its original strap. The strap retention loop broke off, but larger wrists shouldn’t have an issue with that. But because of that flaw, I am only asking **$30**. 3. **Casio CA53W Databank** *Must be an add-on to another purchase!* — We all know it. Some of us even love it. This piece is on its original rubber strap. I will let this go as a **$15** bundle add-on. 4. **Casio World Time AW500WA-7D** *Must be an add-on to another purchase!* — This watch rocks. Needs a new battery, though, so I can let it go at **$15** bundled with another watch. 5. **Stuhrling Original Classic Cuvette II 490.3335K31** — This is an interesting 42mm piece with a golden-brown sunburst dial. It worked well for me (a 6’6” dude with a 7.7 inch wrist) as my first “dress” watch. Comes on an aftermarket gold-tone mesh bracelet but I’ll also send you the (largely unused) original leather strap. It needs a new battery, so I’ll let the ensemble go for **$50**. 6. **Skagen Hagen Slim (SKW6471) Midnight Mother-Of-Pearl** *Must be add-on to another purchase!* — Here is another large-wrist dress watch option at 40mm case size and 20mm lug length. The dial is genuine mother-of-pearl, and the case is only 6.5mm thick. There are some small scratches on the dial. But the catch is that it needs a new battery, which the internet tells me is difficult with this model. If you have an extra **$25** and want to give it a shot, you’ll have a nice entry-level dress watch for your troubles. If nothing else, this gets you two 20mm leather straps for $25 🤷🏼♂️ 7. **Vaer C5 Swiss Quartz Field Watch** — This piece is a catch-and-release for me. I thought I wanted a beater field watch with a black dial and white numbers and it turns out I just don’t wear it that often…i keep reaching for my Shinola instead. This Vaer is 40mm with 20mm lugs, and it comes in the original box with two Vaer NATO straps. Water resistant to 100m, screw down crown, sapphire crystal. It’ll do whatever you need a field watch to do. Asking **$90** for this one. 8. **Praesidus A-11 Automatic Field Watch** — this is a 42mm cream-dial field watch with fantastic lume. There’s a small ding on the case just above 12:00. Lug length is 22mm; NH35 movement. You can get the watch, its original green canvas strap, a leather NATO strap, and the box with all warranty papers for a cool **$175**.
