Hello Omega Forums,

Today I am offering another of my watches, this time a Tissot from the 1930s.


Dial
As you can see the dial has an absolutely delightful creamy patina. The dial has a very classic 1930/40s calatrava style design which is often referred to as a sector dial, which is very reminiscent of much more expensive brands from this era, including those by Longines that made almost identical watches. It is relatively simple making it very legible and easy to read and overall it is in very good condition for an 86 year old watch. The sub dial at 6 o clock shows the seconds.

Case
The case is in fairly good condition and measures 34mm in diameter not including the crown, which is quite a good size for this era in general, still an ideal sized watch for modern use. The mid case is an alloy and caseback is stainless steel. The condition overall appears fairly good, but there is some wear to the plating on the midcase if you observe from the side. It hasn't bothered me as you cannot see it when wearing it. I believe the crown to be original.

Movement
The movement is a 27 calibre movement and it is running very strong. I haven’t had it serviced during my ownership however so I would recommend factoring in a service at some point in the future. I have not however noticed anything that would bring me any concern.

Strap
The pictured strap is not included, so, the watch is sold as head only, however if you would like I will add one of my spares to it for you to wear straight away free of charge.
