Good evening, WatchEx! Final listing of tonight: The Christopher Ward C7 Rapide Rosso Corsa Chronometer, a scarce limited edition of 200. Oh look, I'm selling another CW! This is a limited edition that's had my heart for quite a while - one of the first models from them that I truly fell in love with. I spent literal years trying to source one, and while it's even nicer than I thought it would be, my tastes have changed during that time, and I'm moving it along to buy another CW. The C7 Rapide line was a hit with CW, from their motorsport line that's since been teased at coming back. These models have a bit of a "Tag" flair to them, but they went one step further with bold colors on the cases and dials. This red/black beauty wears nicely, is finished as you'd expect from CW, and uses steel and aluminum in the case to leave you with a lightweight sport watch that's prepared for anything. Add in a COSC certified movement, and there really isn't a weakness here. The strap is their Italian "Soft Touch" leather - the black surface almost feels rubberized, and the soft red interior is very comfortable. The strap does have some rippling towards the end of the long strap - this is normal for these straps. I've got a black rubberized leather from them that I wear often that has the same effect, but it's held up perfectly. I've had many, many CW listings where I "oooh" and "ahhh" about their value statement, so I'll try to keep this part brief. Their level of finish and case design are some of the best in the industry regardless of price, but for under a grand (on this very secondary market) I'm confident you cannot do better from an overall quality/value perspective. This limited model from a previous generation of CW design is limited to just 200 total pieces, and I'll be surprised if I see another listed any time soon.
