I had a chance to get the Solar Beat model but chose the Cartier’s proven High Autonomy quartz, with an 8-year battery. I figured having the battery changed easily every 8-year is a smart opportunity to check and change the gaskets, too (an easy process, if one is to change the battery anyway). And the time-keeping for the High Autonomy quartz is amazing, folks. I literally adjust the time only on daylight saving; if it weren’t for such rules, I don’t think you’d have to EVER adjust this watch.

I purchased this from my authorized dealer in 2022 and wore it rarely. Although I know people wear Cartier Tanks to all kinds of casual events, I wore this watch mostly to symphonies, theatre performances, and my daughter’s cello recitals and ensembles… mostly special occasions. As such, there are only very slight, very few, very superficial marks on this watch, and it is in fantastic pre-owned condition.

The original Cartier leather strap is also in excellent mint condition, never worn. Original Cartier buckle is in great condition and, of course, included in this FULL kit. Famous Cartier red boxes, official papers, red purchase envelop, velvet Cartier watch-carrying pouch, velvet Cartier strap-carrying pouch. Red Cartier authorized dealer carrying bag. All in excellent condition!

In certain light angles, the blued hands are phenomenal! Hard to capture in pictures but in real life they are sometimes a strong flash of blue while other times they are a gun-metal blue. In darker ambience they are black.
