Good afternoon, WatchEx! I've got a flurry of watches coming up - third, a one-hander from Meistersinger, the Metris Bronze. Something you don't see every day - a one-hander watch. At first glance, you might think "how am I supposed to tell time accurately?", which is a fair question. I've had a few Meistersinger watches over the years, and once you wear it a bit, it's really not more difficult than any other format. You get used to it quick, and I've really come to appreciate the simplicity. With that outta the way, let's talk about how great this thing looks. A bronze case with deep-anthracite dial, vintage-toned numerals and red accents...this is bronze done right. This example is lightly worn, as evidenced by the nicely aging patina - which adds a nice accent to the aged theme of the watch. Meistersinger has been doing these one-hander watches for nearly 20 years with the help.of some other awesome brands in the industry. They have a style like no other brand in the industry, and it's a lot of fun to see them succeeding. If you're bored of the every day average watches you see, this is a great change up -and one that's sure to start up conversations.
