If you know, you know… This IWC Mark XVII is an absolute stunner in person for a number of reasons: -It possesses the most legible dial you’ll ever see. -It is more accurately sized as a pilot watches than the other Mark series with a 41mm diameter yet wears like a dream due to its meager 10.8mm thickness. -It incorporates an altimeter-style date wheel as a nod to its pilot watch roots… which also means the date wheel is never obscured by the minute hand, even at quarter past the hour. -There’s the perfect touch of red from the date wheel pointer topping it all off. -The Mark XVII was the last of the Mark series watches to utilize a ETA movement which IWC then heavily modified (a Selitta-based movement was used for the Mark XVIII before IWC created the IWC 32111 for the Mark XX). This watch just checks all the boxes. These IWC are often seen on a strap (the Mark XVII strap version is reference IW326501 and is generally $600-800 cheaper), but the IWC bracelet takes this watch to a whole new level: IWC is famous for their comfortable “brick” bracelet, but the ingenuity and engineering that went into this IWC bracelet is astounding. It incorporates push-button link securement to add or remove a link so anyone can easily adjust the bracelet with a simple toothpick - no screwdrivers or pin pushers scratching your bracelet! Also, depressing the polished, rectangular “IWC” logo on the clasp engages an on-the-fly micro adjustment without ever having to take the watch off your wrist! Top it off with a fit and finish that is second to none, and you have a bracelet that is not only handsome but also makes the Mark XVII one of the most comfortable watch I have ever had the pleasure to wear. I am offering this IWC Mark XVII for $1999 via Crypto only including shipping within the United States. It comes complete with everything pictured: the IWC watch box, brass bracelet adjustment tools, three booklets, warranty card and holder, hang tag, and all the original links. Please take a look at my pictures - this watch was worn in rotation with about a dozen other watches for a few months, so there are a few rub marks, a little desk rash and just mild signs of wear but nothing drastic that wouldn’t polish out. The crystal appears to be pristine and it is keeping time well. Will be shipping from the Atlanta, GA area and will ship within the US. I am open to trade offers, but please don’t be offended if I politely decline as I am admittedly picky. I am keeping my eyes out of a nice Omega Planet Ocean 2209.50 (Gen 1, 42mm, orange bezel, cal 2500 movement on bracelet, full kit) or a Panerai. Don’t hesitate to ask any questions or voice concerns and thank you very much for your time. Regards, Jonathan
