Up for sale is a 1960s/1970s Audemars Piguet Ultta Thin manual wind watch in solid 18k white gold. This dress watch measures in at a wonderful 34mm diameter and an astonishing 6.5mm thickness. It melts into your wrist but you won't forget that it's there based on the weight of the 18k white gold. The thinness of this watch is made possible by way of its AP Cal 2001 movement, which is currently running at about +/- 7 spd. The movement is manual wind. It produces a very satisfying click with each turn of the crown. This watch is in good shape, but it is not flawless. The dial has some spotting due to age, but it has taken on a very nice warm patina. The case would benefit from a very light polish but it is free from any damage. The watch comes on a black shell cordovan strap custom made by veblenist.
