For sale is the Grand Seiko SBGW289 44GS 55th Anniversary Limited Edition Sakura-Kakushi. This was the first model released in this new mid-size 44GS case revival. Dated June 2022 (model released and sold out that month). Movement: In-house Mechanical 9S64 with 24 jewels and 72 hours power reserve. Condition: Watch is in excellent condition overall. There are some very light surface hairlines on the lower left lug that are very difficult to see. Considering the large flat zaratsu polished surfaces, condition is as excellent as can be expected. Zaratsu polishing is mostly intact, case has no other scratches or dings, and crystal is flawless. Bracelet links have some desk diving marks near the clasp. Specs: 36.5mm x 42.7mm x 11.6mm. Wears even thinner than the specs. Sapphire AR top hat crystal. Embossed GS lion caseback. 100m water resistant. Push pull manual winding crown. Engraved limited edition number out of 1200 on caseback. 44GS case wears beautifully with a thin mid-case. Zaratsu polished to high heaven, pictures don’t do it justice.
