Looked at some vintage Doxas selling price. I just reduced this to $85.00.
Well.... I bought a number of really cool pieces for winter projects last fall only to discover my 3rd generation watchmaker has decided to retire and is NOT taking in any more work. Akron Ohio isn't exactly a mecca for watchmakers, so maybe you have "a guy".
Only trades I'd consider are straight end Forstner bracelets or a 20mm Black isofrane.
35mm gold plated case (I assume based on weight). It's not marked, but that said-The case is free of worn spots in the gold. 18mm lugs and a brand new Epson Leather strap. The watch winds and sets smooth. it seems to run fine and keep time. Having taken the time to actually set it and watch it, its now less than +30 seconds after 12 hours- IT DOES NEED SERVICED but its running much better than I expected it to.. Rotor is signed and movement is clean, no signs of rust or water leakage. Just starting to develop some cool look patina on the dial. Acrylic crystal is free of scratches and no cracks, chips etc. Unique hands.
This is an AS FOUND watch. It was from an estate sale and there is literally no history what so ever-Hence the price. No warranty, sales are final because my guy is just done..Please examine the pics.
