Hi there,
Up for sale is my Grand Seiko Heritage Collection 55th Anniversary SBGW289, one of a limited edition of 1200. This stunner combines Grand Seiko's signature 44GS polished case with a striking textured, silvery-pink dial that plays beautifully in the light. Supposedly, this dial was inspired by cherry blossoms peeking out of snow in the spring sunshine, though for me, the dial reminds me of the subtly pink sand of Elbow Beach in Bermuda, one of my favorite places in the world.
The case of this watch measures a svelte 36.5mm in diameter, and is 11.6mm thick. The Caliber 9S64 inside is a manual winding movement assembled by hand by the craftsmen and craftswomen of Grand Seiko Studio Shizukuishi. It boasts a power reserve of 72 hours and an accuracy rating of -3 to +5 seconds per day.
I am the original owner of this watch, and I purchased it from Watches of Switzerland in the fall of 2022. Since then, I've worn it probably 30-40 times for dressier occasions, so it shows some light scratches but nothing that coudln't be buffed out if you wanted. The watch will come with all boxes and paperwork.
Asking just 4200 for this rare beauty, which includes insured priority insured shipping in the CONUS.
