**Patek Philippe - Golden Ellipse Ref #5738r**Oh, I wish I was a photographer to properly capture this one. This watch was purchased at the Patek Philippe store in Geneva in 2018 and has rarely been worn. The watch is nearly mint, with the exception of some creasing in the leather strap from the watch sitting in a box for a few years :) This watch sits beautifully on the wrist - it’s extremely thin thanks the manual caliber 240 that powers it. The ebony black sunburst dial is truly stunning to look at, not to mention the fact that it’s an 18k gold dial plate. The case is rose gold, measuring at 34.5 x 39.5mm. Topped with the alligator strap that exudes quality - this is truly the ultimate dress watch in my opinion. My father has realized he just doesn’t wear non-stainless watches anymore, and so this is sadly hitting the market. Selfishly of course, I wish it was staying in the family as I’ve always been fond of the Ellipse, but I believe he’d like to use the funds elsewhere. At retail, the watch is a touch over $36K, and although this watch is effectively as mint as I could imagine, **I’m asking for $27,200 net to me, which is one of the lowest prices I've seen in the active market.**.
