For sale is my Kurono Tokyo Calendrier Type 1, warranty card dates November 2022. Really cool watch from Hajime Asaoka, at a reasonable price. Usually when you see a two sub dial watch it’s a chronograph, in this case it’s a calendar which is what initially drew me to the watch. It uses the Miyota 9122, which is pretty rare to see in any watches. The coin edge bezel is different for Kurono as described in his literature: “Its design intent is for it to be worn regularly and to develop character over time - a design that allows for and embraces scratches.” That said, watch is in amazing condition, it has been worn but I don’t see any major scratches on it. It still has the sticker on the case back. The polishing on the case is stellar, and the dial color is quite dynamic and changes in the light. The detail on this thing is incredible, for instance the sides of the crystal are polished. This is generally a detail that you get on very high-end watches. Just a really cool piece. Comes with full box, and papers, and all the little goodies the watch shipped with originally.
