I bought this a couple of months ago, intending to use it as a daily. However, a raft of incomings over the last two months have led to me reassessing, hence now offering it for sale.

As I had intended to keep it, this has just been fully serviced by WatchGuy in the UK. Overall condition is fair-good with all original parts and it will make a great daily wearer.

Dial: Original tritium step dial in excellent condition. Beautiful bright, matte black dial body and no damage, or scratches etc. Greenish lume as is common on these early 70’s Speedmasters.
Matching hands. Tip of chrono hand has been relumed.

Case: stainless steel case ref 145.022-71 in good condition. Nice and sharp, retaining brushed sides and sharp edges. No rust or corrosion.
Not refinished and so has surface wear commensurate with age.
Original old logo hesalite crystal.
Original A2 24 tooth crown, correct for the 1970-72 period.

Bezel: original B2 bezel in fair condition with some wear, most notably around 11 o’clock.

Movement: original Omega cal 861 movement, serial 31,xxx xxx dating to June ‘71 according to ‘ilovemyspeedmaster.com’.
In excellent condition, no corrosion or mismatched parts. Fully serviced in Dec 23 and with remainder of 12 month warranty with WatchGuyUK.

Bracelet: Vintage Omega 1175 with original 640 Endlinks in very good condition, suitable for up to 7.5” wrist.
