Hi Watchex, Here is a Rolex Sea-Dweller 16600 (D-Serial, 2005/2006) with a no-holes case and solid end links. This classic tool-watch is one of the final iterations of the five-digit Sea-Dweller before Rolex moved into the bulkier six-digit era. The Sea-Dweller has a distinct place in Rolex history. Originally developed alongside COMEX for saturation diving in the late 1960s, it carried forward the brand’s no-nonsense engineering with a slimmer, more wearable 40mm profile than anything that followed. The 16600 is considered by many to be the sweet spot of the lineage. It’s modern enough to feel robust, yet true to the proportions and purpose that defined the original professional models. Its 4000 ft / 1220 m depth rating remains one of the trademarks of the reference. The watch is in good condition. It does have light wear throughout, consistent with regular use and its age. Lines remain crisp. Noteworthy is a flea-bite on the bezel around 11:30, as can be seen in photos/video. The original pip has developed a nice patina, and overall the watch has a cohesive, lightly seasoned look. Powered by Rolex’s Caliber 3135, the watch is running well.
