CE1111 is a pure expression of late 1990s and early 00s Swiss sports watch design—robust, functional, and unmistakably TAG Heuer. Built during a period when the brand was defining its modern identity, this reference blends professional dive-watch capability with the practicality of a quartz chronograph. Housed in a stainless steel case measuring approximately 37–38mm (around 12mm thick), the watch wears compact yet solid on the wrist. The uni-directional rotating bezel with 12 raised studs is a signature of the later Generation 3 2000 Series, offering both visual character and functional grip. The mix of brushed and polished surfaces gives the case depth while maintaining a tool-watch feel. The silver dial is clean and highly legible, fitted with luminous baton indices and hands. The chronograph layout includes a central seconds hand, 60-minute and 12-hour counters, and a discreet date window positioned between 4 and 5 o’clock—classic TAG Heuer execution from the era. Powering the watch is the reliable TAG Heuer Calibre based on the ETA 251.262 quartz chronograph movement, known for accuracy, durability, and ease of ownership. A sapphire crystal protects the dial, while a screw-down crown and caseback ensure a water resistance rating of 200 meters—making this a true sports watch, not just a desk diver. This example remains in good condition, showing little scratches fitting for its age and no dents. The dial remains clean and crisp with no visible aging. The lume on the hands has aged naturally, though legibility is still good. The crystal is clear. It has been recently serviced and is keeping great time at +/-5s a day.
