This watch is often referred to as the “Big Oyster” thanks to its larger 36mm case size (unusual for its era). The dial does have a decent amount of patina, but it is even and frankly looks great, giving the wearer a real nice reminder of the history behind the watch. It is in very good vintage condition. The case has been polished, and as noted the dial has a natural patina. This watch was serviced back in October of 2025, so is very recent and keeps amazing time. Crown is the original stamped Rolex crown and has no issues with screwing down or winding. It comes on an aftermarket non-genuine Rolex rivet style bracelet, the bracelet that would have come with this watch originally back in 1959. No box or papers. This was my own personal watch and was a beautiful addition to my collection, just trying to move some things around at this point.
