Up for sale we have a rare Japanese gem. This Credor Pacifique blends sports watch practicality with dress watch style. I would not be selling if it weren't for news of an unexpected pregnancy, otherwise would keep it as a fantastic daily. [Album](https://imgur.com/a/fo3jC0t) [Timestamp](https://i.imgur.com/jzB9g9Y.jpeg) **About the watch:** This Pacifique comes equipped with a 18k solid white gold bezel which oozes class and gives the watch a refined, light-catching aesthetic. The polished beveled hour markers glint beautifully under direct light. I have found Credor finishing to be on par with Grand Seiko in my privileged experience of owning several examples of both brands. This watch features a precursor to the Spring Drive movement, back when parent company Seiko was experimenting with melding the benefits of the high accuracy timekeeping of quartz technology with the practicality of automatic movements. Kinetic watches were designed as an environmentally conscious project to reduce the effect of batteries becoming waste in landfills. As such, this movement features a capacitor which keeps the battery (freshly installed in this case) topped up with charge by your daily wear. Credor is well renowned for their incredibly accurate watches and this one is no different, keeping excellent time. The case comes in at a very refined 36mm and wears incredibly thin at just under 10mm, incredibly impressive with the fact that it packs a full sized rotor. The integrated bracelet design, currently in vogue, makes it wear slightly larger comparable perhaps to a 37-38mm diameter watch. **The specs:** * 36mm case * \~10mm thick * 4M71 high accuracy movement * Water Resistant 100M * Sapphire Crystal * 18kt white gold bezel **Condition:** Watch was recently serviced and inspected. A new battery was installed. The crown gasket was recently replaced and the watch passed an atmospheric pressure test to 6ATM. Naturally due to the vintage nature of the watch submersion is not recommended, but this watch should be able to take exposure to liquids like rain storms and hand washing with no problem. The case and bezel are in excellent shape as is the sapphire crystal. Light scratches consistent with use for the month or so I've had it can be seen, although they are only apparent under bright light. Pictures were taken in direct sunlight to provide accuracy to this. This watch comes with original double box, a rare addition these days, as well as extra links to accommodate wrist sizes of approximately 18cm. **Price**: $650 shipped to CONUS. Watch was acquired recently directly from Japan and import duties were covered by me at a steeper-than-expected cost. My loss is your gain. International buyers are welcome to cover shipping and any import duties. PayPal F&F preferred. No trades at the time. Thank you for looking, kindly reach out with any questions. I reserve the right to choose the buyer.
