IYKYK! Up for sale today is my amazing Ochs und Junior Date (or mese 1.22) in purple. This version is so stunning that they feature it on the Ochs und Junior Date webpage! I bought this piece pre-owned from 1916 Company, and the watch is under warranty until June 2026. The watch will come in an aftermarket case, without papers. It also comes with a nifty purple stingray strap that makes the watch even more fun! I am only releasing it because I recently acquired an Ochs Moonphase, so it is one-in-one-out! If you have gotten this far, I probably don't need to tell you much about the visionary watchmaker Ludwig Oechslin. His minimalist, eponymous brand makes astounding complications with minimal extra parts. In the Date watch, Oechslin replaced a numbered date disk with 31 holes in the dial. The holes spiral around the dial, with the 31st overlapping the 1st. The watch is super legible, with 10-minute markers serving as reference points, date dots acting as even minutes, and the gaps between as odd. According to OuJ, they only make 10 of these a year so there probably won't be anyone in your friend group with this understated, high horology piece! A few additional observations. While the watch is 42mm, it wears smaller because of the short lugs. Nevertheless, the watch has PRESENCE because it lacks a bezel, numerals, or branding to clutter the aesthetic. The playful hand colors accent the lush purple dial. The visible machine brushing on the case adds texture. As for the condition, I would rate it in excellent condition. Titanium usually shows marks, but I cannot see anything of note. Please consult the macro photos to judge for yourself. Price: **$3350**. This watch is priced aggressively; it is the cheapest I could find online. This is about 60% of what a new one would now cost (thanks tariffs)! I accept PayPal, Venmo, and Zelle.
