For sale : Vintage Croton Nivada Grenchen Chronomaster CASD, Valjoux 92, Serviced + warranty Overview: Croton CASD Chronograph Reference 105/9855 designed during the golden age of tool watches, The Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver (or CASD for short) was marketed to the American market under the brand name Croton as a do-it-all chronograph that could keep pace with pilots, divers, and adventurers alike. Its versatility wasn’t just for show. With a rotating bezel, tachymeter scale, and an illustrious Valjoux movement, the Chronomaster offered genuine functionality across land, sea, and air. Description: MODEL / REFERENCE: Croton Chronomaster Aviator Sea Diver (CASD) - High T Swiss, ref. 105/9855 (This variation of the Croton Chronomaster is covered in the book "Chronomaster Only" on page 186) YEAR: circa 1960s DIAL+HANDS: * Matt black dial with recessed subdials and tritium markers. The dial is in good and original condition with signs of aging. The imprint is crisp and complete. * Hands: original and correct broad arrow hour, minute and chronograph second hand. * Lume: The tritium lume indexes are all present CRYSTAL: Plexy crystal in good condition with minor surface marks BEZEL: aluminium bezel insert in good overall condition with some surface scuffs. CASE & CASEBACK: 38 mm stainless steel unpolished case in with signs of use. Lug-to-Lug, the case measures approx. 44mm. The surface remains in good overall condition, with normal signs of wear and no major dings or scuffs. The stainless steel case back is signed inside and out. CROWN: original unsigned crown. MOVEMENT: The signed hand-wound Valjoux 92. The movement is clean and has been fully serviced by [Feldmar Watch Company Los Angeles](https://feldmarwatch.com/services-repair/ ) on April 4, 2024 & comes with two year warranty. Service cost was $600 and service receipt will be included (picture attached). All chronograph functions operate as intended and the movement keeps good time.
