Ladies and Gentleman, Greetings from the hills of Tennessee! This is an amazing vintage dress piece from the maison International Watch Company. It sports a very thin stainless steel water resistant case with sapphire crystal and houses the rare Caliber 3245 (JLC Caliber 889) which is a super high grade, robust, adjusted movement featuring 34 jewels and beautiful hand finishing!! These were used by IWC for a short period of time during the transition from in house calibers to the ETA movements they used in the first Portifinos, some of the Pilot "Mark" series (the mark XII used a JLC Caliber). I believe I read they only produced about 3000 of these particular movements! ***Ultra rare to find with the original stamped dated guarantee booklet.*** Watch case measures 34mm and is a perfect classy everyday size. 18mm Lug Width. The face is a beautiful rhodium finish gray! It has some spotting (and some oxidation on the hands) and a little discoloration around the edges, particularly around 6 o'clock, but overall in beautiful vintage condition. The strap is aftermarket, but has the IWC buckle. The black really sets off the stainless case and dial. Let me know if you prefer another style strap as I have other options available and can swap the buckle.
