Corum just might have cracked the code on a wearable investment - anyone check the price of gold lately??? The Corum coin watch has always been intriguing, taking vintage gold coins and adding in a movement, but maybe now more than ever. And this is the coveted larger men’s size with hand wound Vacheron Constantine based movement, complete with its original solid gold Corum buckle! 35MM case made from a 1900 solid gold $20 coin. Pictured on my 6.6 inch wrist, it wears beautifully and it’s a super sharp example, with gorgeous patina forming on the gold. Sapphire crystal is flat so virtually all you see are those blued hands floating on that coin face. Comes on a new taupe colored leather strap, complete with its original solid gold Corum buckle. Hand wound Vacheron based Corum movement is running very well. Service history unknown but was just regulated by my watchmaker. PRICE: $4800 which will include 2 day fully insured shipping through FedEx anywhere in the US. Face-to face deals in the Los Angeles area are always welcomed with a small discount offered.
