For sale is this vintage Seiko Chronograph 7T42-6A10, made in Japan in November of 1998. This watch's design looks as if it was heavily inspired by the beautiful Porsche Design Orfina watch from Top Gun with its sub-dials at twelve, nine and six as well as the tachymeter rehaut although the watch is quite a bit slimmer (under 1cm) than the PD Orfina and with more features.  The matte dial is a perfect base for the flicker of teal-green and orange of the sub-dial, seconds and minute hands for the stopwatch chronograph and count-down timer. The integrated "presidential" style bracelet suits the watch great. The silver date wheel complements the brushed all-stainless steel construction of the case and bracelet.  The features include: A stopwatch chronograph with split-time (up to 6h), countdown timer from 60 minutes (after which there is a beep for the 5 seconds remaining and long beep for finish), alarm (a different sound to the timer with a more melodic two-note sound), date of the month, tachymeter for measuring distance or speed and dual time. The hands move automatically when resetting timer or chronograph and 6 o'clock sub-dial hands move auto when entering alarm set. Sub-dial at the twelve displays elapsed seconds (turns counter-clockwise) in timer mode and elapsed minutes (turns clockwise) in stopwatch chronograph mode.
