A beautiful, rare watch that was only produced for a short time but it’s not something I can see myself reaching for often. Seiko Red Alpinist SCVF005, first and only Alpinist with the hi-beat 4S15 28,800VPH movement and the introduction of the shark-tooth indices. This watch is in good shape, I have included photos showing some minor wear and dings that honestly I didn’t even notice wearing it until taking these photos. Comes with box and 3 spare links, currently sized for 7.125” wrist. Inner bezel is very smooth, crystal is completely clean as is the dial and all the hands/indices. Red details are still perfectly red, polishing in the dial is all super clean, and lume is still going strong. Crown is smooth as is winding it, setting the date and time flawless, accuracy is running approx +10sec/day. Serial # shows this was produced in February 1995.
