Greetings Watchexchange, up for sale is a beautiful 56KS 5625-8000 from September of 1974, making it a relatively late KS. These KS watches truly embody Seiko's grammar of design principles which are prominent in their modern GS watches. The 5625 movement is a beautiful 28,800 bph hi-beat automatic movement with hand winding and hacking. The watch has a very sharp case, with evidently very little to no polishing work done over its life. The watch is serviced, and runs spectacularly. The 56KS have a known weak point with the quickset date rotor, this is functional on the watch. The dial is brilliant white, which is often oxidized and dulled on these KS watches. The crystal has a couple of scratches as pictured, and the watch is overall beautiful for the age. The 8000 case reference of KS oddly doesn't have a signed crown, and being a late KS the caseback doesn't have a gold medallion.
