Wow, this is a truly spectacular pocket watch! Honestly one of the coolest timepieces I have ever held in my hands, I just love it. This is a Swiss-made Aero one-pusher chronograph from the late 1910's with a unique custom handmade lathe-turned stainless steel case. The new case was handmade by my friend Lothar. He is an older German guy with incredible watchmaking skills, but zero internet skills. So far, I have had the privilege of being the only person to offer his works for sale online. I have sold many of his pieces right here on r/watchexchange and I will provide several examples of his other works in the comments. The original case for this movement was gold, and someone melted it at some point. Now, the movement, dial and hands have been saved and placed in a new home. The steel is solid and has a really nice weight to it, and the brushed finish feels so soft and smooth. This case features an exhibition back that really showcases the incredible movement inside. The case is in mint condition. 12-hour porcelain chronograph dial with arabic numerals. The dial is flawless, no cracks or damage of any kind. Push/pull crown for convenient time setting. The pusher for the chronograph is on top of the crown. This is a one-pusher chrono, so the pusher activates the chronograph with the first push, the second push stops it, and the third push resets the chrono hands to their zero-position. The Swiss made movement is in amazing condition, and despite its age, it is functioning perfectly, running very smoothly and keeping great time. I have tracked the timing for about 36 hours, and the time is still bang-on. It's amazing to see a 100+ year old movement in such clean condition. This is a completely unique timepiece, and there will never be another one exactly like it! Asking $450 USD OBO including shipping within North America. Great international shipping rates available too.
