This vintage 14K gold Longines watch is in exceptionally fine condition, and it runs and keeps time. It is about 76 years old.
The case feels very solid and heavy. With the movement removed, the empty case weighs 13 grams.
The dial, movement and case are signed "LONGINES."
It still has the original beveled glass crystal, which is in excellent condition..
The width of the case is 23.5mm. The length of the case is 40mm.
It has the original Longines 9L, 17 jewel Swiss movement as seen in the photo.
The serial number indicates the watch was made in the late 1940s.
This watch uses spring bars with a hole in each end, please note that it is of the Female Spring bars type. I only have one of these spring bars, it will be included with the watch. Selling as is with no straps
