Today, the SuperOcean Heritage collection is best known for its vintage-inspired designs that recall some of the earliest years of Breitling diving. One of the best embodiments of this modern-focused, vintage-inspired collection is this recently introduced SuperOcean Heritage, featuring an attractive combination of historical flares and modern capabilities. Sized at 44mm in steel and 18k rose gold, the watch is a capable companion at sea with a 200m dive rating, a unidirectional diving bezel, and a large crown plenty sturdy in its vintage-influenced, guardless style. While resolutely modern in its robust wear and use of materials, the watch takes many cues from vintage Breitling diver styles. This is most apparent in the dueling arrow-shaped hour hand and sword-shaped minute hand – which feel anything but dated despite their historical connection to Breitling's vintage dive-watch catalog. A Breitling caliber B20 powers the diver.
