Maurice LaCroix is one of the unsung heroes of the Swiss watch world - currently under the control of the same group that powers Ressence, Mondaine, and Speake Marin, they've long been one of the best value statements to be had on the secondary market. Premium movements, unique designs (for their segment,) and fantastic fit/finish can be found on each of their current models. The Aikon clearly got some design cues from some other high-end luxury brands, that's not secret. Still an original design, these wear like a dream - and look the part, too. All without having to take out a second mortgage! Nice. This specific Aikon comes with an assortment of straps and an OEM bracelet, which really completes the look in my opinion. Each of the straps has a quick-release system that makes light work of completely changing the look and feel of the watch. It's in good shape overall, though some of the high-polish accents could stand for a light polish.
