For someone who is new to collecting vintage Omegas, Seamasters with special dials were featured here: Omega Seamaster - A guide to special dials
Now, about this watch:
- Dial: Original dial in good condition. All the texts are clearly visible. Why the dial didn't have minutes markers, you may ask? Well it's actually a thing with Omegas in the 50s to early 60s, how about this thread. And more, the hour markers are onyx inserted.
- Case: 35mm without crown, based on my observations, case was very lightly polished in the past.
- Crown: Original thin scalloped crown and period correct with the watch.
- Plexie: Original signed Omega glass.
- Movement: Omega Cal. 562 with serial number in 19mils range. Watch is running, winding smoothly, datejump and semi quickset date function checked. Service history is unknown.
- Bracelet: Original BOR ref. 8220 with No.11 endlinks. Will fit 7 1/4" wrists or below.
