DATE: app 1980s DIAL: It’s a freakin’ gold coin, hard to add much more! You get all of those great stampings and all of those details of a vintage gold coin with gorgeous blued hands and sapphire glass seemingly floating on top. Often times when these are found the Corum printing is faded but this dark and sharp, all in an incredible example. CASE: The larger version coming in at 35MM by 41MM has great presence on the wrist, not to mention nice weight being solid 18k gold. It’s also just 4.7 MM thick, hugging the wrist beautifully. The case is very crisp, doesn’t appear to have been polished or touched at all. MOVEMENT: Just returned from a full service and will come with a one-year warranty, so as expected the hand wound movement is working perfectly.
