Up for sale is a rare watch, a Tudor reference 7960 - the "Oysterthin." The Tudor Oysterthin boasts the thinnest case ever produced by Tudor. This particular watch measures in at 9mm in thickness, and the case itself is 6mm. The case diameter measures in at approximately 35mm. The Oysterthin was produced in a variety of dial and hand configurations (and name configurations as well--including as "Elegante" in the Spanish markets). This watch in particular was produced with an applied gold Tudor "big rose" at the 12 indice, as well as other gold applied indicies, all which compliment the dauphine hands. This watch has taken on a beautiful custard patina in its age. Though the dial has some very minor spotting, it's generally in very beautiful condition and looks great alongside the gold. This watch features a manual wind, Tudor calibre 2402 movement, which is based on an ETA movement. The movement is currently running at approximately 14 seconds per day. The case is in honest but good shape. It has a few marks but no significant scratches or damage.
