Recently purchase this gorgeous King Seiko from The Time Collective - Custom Vintage Grand King Seiko Accessories but need to move this along to make room for other pieces incoming. This one is a gem of a piece, a true OG in iconic seiko design.

Made in the Daini factory in April of 1971, this KS has been serviced and keeping great time, the 36000 bph Hi-beat movement is running just under 10s/day dial up. Speaking of dial, it is original and in mint condition. The gold medallion on the case-back is is great shape too, and is in a protective case to preserve its condition. Case edges are sharp, and have never been polished. Normal signs of wear are visible, but truly gives this watch more character.

Upgrades

What's special about this KS are the upgrades. This KS comes with a custom Sapphire display case-back made by thetimecollective. You no longer have to worry about wearing out the medallion, and you can see the beautiful movement in all of its glory.

To complete the package, this watch also comes with a new matching gold plated KS buckle from Vintage Time AU. This buckle is made from stainless steel and plated in an average of 5 microns of gold. The plating is real "hard" gold and not the cheap titanium nitride or yellow doped rhodium style plating.
