Put that onto a classic Rolex Datejust and you got yourself one sweet combo: this 1991 Rolex Datejust 16233 with gorgeous black and gold/gilt dial bringin’ all the feels! (Would make an AMAZING birth year watch, just sayin’…) REFERENCE: 16233 SERIAL: X558XXX YEAR: 1991 DIAL: Such an amazing dial! Gorgeous deep black, gold writing, incredibly clean with creamy tritium lume that matches on the hands and the hour markers, all seen under sapphire crystal - just SWEET! CASE: Really nice 36MM stainless steel case with solid 18k yellow gold bezel. Lugs are still fairly thick and even with some nice brushing on top. Has light wear throughout, a little bit on the polished sides, as to be expected, and a bit on the case back, but all in presents beautifully! MOVEMENT: With the 16233 you get an upgrade from the 16013 in the form of Rolex’s cal 3135 movement. It’s an ICON! Service history is unknown, but winds and sets beautifully and timegrapher numbers are fantastic, keeping COSC time at 4 seconds per day with an amplitude of 254!
