Hi everyone! Offered for sale is a late 60s Omega Chronostop in fantastic condition. The Seamaster Chronostop was introduced as a top-of-the-line product by Omega, and all these years later the quality shines through. This example is to my knowledge all original, and has the original brushing/polishing on the case, as well as a perfect condition OEM crystal with the tiny Omega logo in the middle. The lume plots are a nice vintage beige, and have not turned dark due to moisture, which is sadly seen on a lot other examples of this model. This model has the 24hour internally rotating bezel, making keeping track of another time zone a breeze. Powering the watch is the manually wound caliber 865, a close sibling of the 861 Moonwatch caliber, only this one has a sigle minute flyback chronograph,. to time short events. The movement is currently running about -9 seconds per day, and is ready to be enjoyed. I am offering the watch on a lightly used OEM Omega NATO strap (best nato there is), as well as with two additional quick-release straps. One dark leather and one orange rubber.
