The Panograph features a polished steel case, which is accented by a fixed smooth polished steel bezel. The Glashütte is mounted on its original black alligator strap, which is secured by an adjustable OEM polished steel push button butterfly deployment buckle. In addition, the Panograph is accompanied by a polished steel bracelet, which was only available upon special request for an additional multi thousand dollar charge when the watch was in production, and is seldomly seen. The steel bracelet is fully linked and secured by a hidden butterfly deployment clasp.

The Panograph features a stunning silver opaline dial which is accented by a brushed silver minute track and features: applied polished hour markers, blacked alpha style hands. The silver opaline dial also features a unique trispoke chronograph register between 2 and 4 o’clock, a digital date window aperture at 5 o’clock, an off centered running seconds register below 6 o’clock, with the off centered time display being located above the running seconds register.

The movement used in the 61-01-02-02-04 is the manually wound Glashutte caliber 61, which is proudly displayed through an exhibition caseback, and features approximately 42 hours of power reserve. The finishing on the caliber 42 is truly a work of art, and is truly not done justice by the pictures. Furthermore, the finishing on the movement is truly exceptional and is of Lange quality, as no attention to detail was spared, with every aspect being meticulously thought out and finished by hand.

Condition:
The case has been preserved well and contains virtualy no signs of previous wear, with the only imperfection being some extremely faint surface level hairline scratches on its high polish accents. The OEM strap does contain some signs of previous wear, but has a good amount of use life left. In addition, the OEM bracelet appears to have been worn sparingly, and shows no signs of previous wear. The Caliber 61 movement is currently running well and functioning perfectly, with no apparent issues. Overall the Panograph is in near mint condition, and is an exceptional example of the legendary first series Panograph, which was only produced for approximately three years.
