The Janata line of watches are HMT’s most storied, popular and charming watches. In Hindi language, Janata means "Public" and because of its popularity, HMTs were known to be people's watch. 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - It is a NOS watch in mint-new condition. As you can see in the pictures, it's in 10/10 condition all around. It is a hand-wind mechanical watch with a case diameter of roughly 35mm and a lug width of 18mm. It has a power reserve of approximately 37 hours and keeps accurate time (less than a 30-second deviation in 24 hours). It uses HMT's in-house 0231 hand wind mechanical calibre which is based on Citizen’s 020 movement. Everything is original except for the strap (its aftermarket as the old strap was not in usable condition). If you want, I can ship the original strap too with this free of cost.
