IW3750-01 Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in 18k Gold This is a historically significant reference that represented a commitment to mechanical mastery following in the wake of the quartz crisis. This watch features the Kurt Klaus perpetual calendar system that handles all adjustments in sync – from the four-digit year to the moon phase – via the screw-down crown (no button pushers are needed for adjustment). That is to say all aspects of the calendar adjust concurrently, so setting the calendar is as easy as setting the date on a quickset. If that wasn’t enough it also has a heavily modified 7750 movement with the tactile feedback of a chronograph w/a vertical clutch. Very crisp stop/start/reset. 39 mm Case, 46mm lug to lug, double stepped bezel that tastefully reduces the visibility of its 14.5mm thickness (quite the slab of gold). Hinged lugs, mushroom style pump pushers, applied indices on a white lacquer dial, moonphase set on a disk of aventurine glass, original factory alligator leather strap and buckle, literally just came back from service with a 2-year OEM warranty.
