Up for sale today is a piece on loan from a friend who asked me to sell it for him. 2018 Seiko Jade Monster 3rd Gen (SZSC005) This watch was a JDM model only, and is powered by the 6r15 movement, an upgrade over the standard 4r movement. The 6R15 has a different mainspring, barrel and adjustment lever, which gives it a -15/+25 accuracy and a 55h power reserve. For the 4R series, -35/+45 seconds and a 38–42 h power reserve are averages. I have tried to take as best photos as I can to represent the condition of the watch. The bracelet has the typical swirling and hair scratches one would expect from a piece that is 6 years old, the case however looks beautiful. Minimal scratches to the case and bezel, and a totally clean crystal, save for one small scuff to the date magnifier. It can probably be buffed out, but as it is not my piece I saved that for another day. It is very hard to notice unless you are holding it inches away from your eye. This watch has been thoroughly cleaned top to bottom, including under the bezel. The watch keeps great time! This watch comes as a full set with box, papers, links and even the hang tags. My friend is asking 600 OBO for the watch, which, given its condition and completeness, is reasonable. Less worn examples go for well over this price, if you can find one. Thank you for looking!
