Good evening, WatchEx! Three tonight, capping things off with some panda action: the Raymond Weil Freelancer "Raytona" Chronograph, ref 7741-ST1-30021. Always wanted a Daytona, but haven't been able/willing to properly fellate your AD? I've got just the thing. I've had quite a few Raymond Weil watches over the years, and I've always been really pleased with their chronographs specifically. This, the Freelancer, has awesome Daytona vibes - clean lines, perfect chronograph layout at 3, 6, 9, and that off-white and black we all crave in a race timer. The finishes are excellent - not sure I've seen a finer brushed finish on the side of a chrono. The jubilee bracelet is great, offering lots of articulation to be comfortable on just about any wrist. As it's powered by a base-7750 movement, it is a little thicker than your average dress watch, but it does wear well with that low center of gravity I'm always looking for. I'd recommend this for wrists larger than 6.5" for sure, but everyone has their own preferences.
