FS is my Waltham Chronograph in impeccable condition. Dates to late 60s/early 70s with perfect size case at 37.4mm. 20mm lugs, so many strap options (most 38mm cases of this era use 19mm). Dial is impeccable and defect-free as far as I can see - no spots, degradation, all lume plots intact with georgeous custard tritium. Anything you see is reflection on very clean and clear plexi unseen in anything other than harsh light. Landeron 248 engine is running freakishly strong and accurate (-3) with high amplitude (328) and chrono functions smoothly and resets crisply. Only disclosure whatsoever is reset is barely measurable left of 60 (maybe 1/10th of a second??) but I’ll note it anyway. I’d not owned a Landeron before and am amazed how much smoother than a comparable Valjoux. Prior owner stated full service two years ago but no documentation present. If timegrapher metrics are solid indication of overall health I’d agree given its running as accurate and strong as modern coaxial. Comes on brand new Barton red rallye to bring out the pop of red in the Waltham logo. Overall a fine example of vintage chrono to enjoy.
